Ok I know that I wanted to be in a wheelchair, because I thought it would be easier then walking. I will never wish to be until my 70's (Hope I live that long) or wish it on my worst enemy! Not because of my team triumph (don't dis on this unique organization ), I get to do a 5k 10K half marathons triathlons, which is an awesome way for disabled people to fit in.
Back to my original thought, this event involves a stroller-like wheelchair. Now if you all don't know what a special (the reason why I say special is because of the adaptations) wheelchair is here is a quick overview of one. They have a butterfly strap on the persons chest, headrest, seatbelt which is normal, and foot straps.
Even though I don't use a wheelchair so much, I know what it is like. The feeling of being able to walk is amazing!! By the way I used a different chair for the 5k! The picture is a updated version.
